What is Ted Nelsons "hypertext"?
Having Ted Nelson to be one of our scholars, but -- and I mean this in the most respectful way: Does anybody really understand the Hypertext paradigm as Dr. Nelson does?
I would love to really be able to wrap my head around his way of thinking and hopefully I will be closer to that goal in 48 hours, but the question remains.

I am open to responses and happy to learn.

Thank you.
In fact, I got a lot closer to understanding. It's a brilliant way of organizing information and data. The problem for me is, that the paradigm we have come accustomed to is fundamentally incompatible with ZigZag and the Hypertext idea. Thus, one needs to step back another step or two -- far beyond merely understanding what the Xanadu for instance does -- before they can start to understand how this can be useful and applied.
