Academic Writing

Hey everybody,

I think the last lesson was quite interesting. It was good to discuss the topic with one of you and get some help and instructions on further points that should also be taken into consideration in the paper. Nevertheless, it is hard for me to create the outline. I have started my research on the topic but the more I read the harder it is to narrow it down to the one main idea. There are many interesting aspects that I could write about, however, I have to make a decision. The next challenge will be to stick to that topic and don’t lose the red tread during the writing process. But that is the reason why the outline is so important.

How are you feeling about your topic and how is your progress on writing? Do you have any tips for me how I can improve this first stage of the writing process?
