Hey,

Looking back to all the classes from the beginning of the term it is quite interesting to reflect on our progress on writing our paper. Especially to reflect on the different stages of the writing process as to generate an idea for the paper, narrow the topic down to one idea, write the outline and following the sentence outline, which also included all the sources used with its’ correct citation. Retrospectively, knowing all the steps of writing an academic paper makes me more confident in writing my thesis statement. Of course this will be a much more intense writing process but here in this course we’ve learned fundamental and significant points to consider when writing a scholarly paper in general. The process will stay the same, irrespective of the academic paper’s extent. Some of you here in class are also writing their thesis statement in English, right? What do you think about it? Do you also feel more confident?
