In the header menu in the first line all the products which Slingshot sells are listed. (Kite RPM, Kite Rally, Kite Fuel, Kite Turbine, Kite Boards) Each product gets a subpage. On the subpages there is in the left big column a product description and in the right column pictures, videos, and a tips and tricks section on some products which leads to a new subpage. 
All the product pictures and videos are owned by Slingshot and available for usage. I have access to the online storage (box.com) and to all the media from Slingshot global. 

In the second line of the menu there are the points Prices, where to buy, spare parts, get in contact and like us on facebook. 

The page "prices" shows the prices of all available products. They are listed in a table.

The page "where to buy" lists current Slingshot Dealers in South Africa with description, directions and a map (on the right side)

The page "spare parts" shows with the help of a big picture all the spare parts you can get and which are available.

The page "get in contact" gives details about the Importer in South Africa including postal address and telephone number.

The page "Facebook" gives a short overview of the benefits of liking the facbook page and includes a social plugin where you can see the latest updates of the facebook page and invites you to like the page with one click.

As it was a criteria to get as easily as possible to the facebook page I decided to add a link to the Facebook page with a mouseover effect just under the header. 

The navigation menu itself has also a mouseover effect (becomes yellow). I used a premade javascript to accomplish this effect.

I also included a footer on the website, mainly because i didnt have space for a link to the sitemap in header menu. There is another link to the Facebook page - otherwise the sitemap link would be very lonely in the footer. The footer and the menu are saved in a library to easily change it.

 

Geschäftsmodell:

Das Ziel dieser Webseite ist ganz klar das zufriedenstellen von Slingshot Kunden in Südafrika. Zu Kunden werden sowohl zum Kitesurfen auf Urlaub angereiste Touristen, als auch Südafrikanische Kitesurfer gezählt. 

Die Webseite soll als Informationsportal dienen um Kunden die besten Preise, Informationen zu Ersatzteilen (nichts ist nerviger als wenn im Urlaub etwas bricht und man weiß nicht wo man das Ersatzteil beschaffen kann) und aktuelle Informationen zu liefern. Grundsätzlich soll es zum Offline-Kauf von Kites oder Zubehör führen und die Leute auf die Facebook Page weiterleiten um ständig in Kontakt bleiben zu können.

Dabei sollte die Webseite über Suchmaschinen gefunden werden und sofort mit der globalen Marke Slingshot als auch mit Südafrika in Verbindung gebracht werden.
