Johann´s Academic Writing Blog S2012

This week we had to write an abstract for the paper. This task was quite easy for me, as I only had to take ideas from the proposal, the introduction and the conclusion and combine it to one text. I also redefined my title, as the initial one was too long. Now it is only seven words long, which is, according to our lecturer, an ideal length.

Further, I completed the middle parts of my paper. Although I already had the basic ideas from my sentence outline, it was not as easy as expected and quite time consuming. I also came up with some new points, but the main frame of the paper is still the same. Now my paper is finished and hopefully, I only have to make some small corrections after the peer review and the lecturer review.
