After Easter - 8th Week

After some lazy days I continued my studies. I finally managed to complete my paper proposal and got a good feedback from Dr. Brewster, so I hope to receive a good grade. I still have problems with the sentence outline because I still don´t have an appropriate structure for my paper.

I have downloaded the full citation rules from APA but got a little bit confused because they were different to other citation rules I have learned on the JKU. Last week I had a meeting for a seminar paper of a strategic management course with some General Management students who came from the Vienna business university and they even used another citation style, pretending it was APA.

Maybe we could start a discussion in the next course. I will revise my introduction and conclusion and then collect further material for the paper.

Hello Daniel,

maybe this site helps you with your citations (I think its very useful and clearly structured):

http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/

On the side-bar, you can click on whether you want to cite a print, non-print, electronic,...source.

I am using this site a lot - maybe it is helpful for you too :)

For your paper sentence outline it is probablly helpful to do a brainstorming. Writing down all your ideas and putting them into order afterwards might be a good starting-point. If you want to add any new ideas later-on, you can easily do that at any time. (At least that is how I do it when writing longer texts)

The purpose of the sentence outline is to guide you through your writing process - and not something, that is unchangeable and fixed once you wrote it.

Hope, you are fine with progressing on your paper.
See you next meeting,
Nina
