       English language is a universal language, which is spoken around the world. English language is applicable in every sphere of human activity, thus it is vital to study English.

            A large percentage of the population of the world is able to speak English, however I dare say, that not everyone is good at speaking academically, what is a significant point in developing professional skills as well as acquire adequate job.

            For the same reasons I have attended the ‘Academic Writing English’ course along with other students. I know how to speak English, but I must admit that my speaking and writing skills are not at a high level. I can express ideas both orally and in papers, however I find it difficult to use appropriate vocabulary and construct complex sentences.

            Attending this course, I am looking forward to expanding my personal vocabulary with indispensable words and expressions in various fields of activity. I also believe that I will be able to write papers in academic style by the end of the course as well as improve my communication skills.

As far as my opinion is concerned, learning to technic of writing in academic style is important and valuable as it is considered to be initial point in writing all types of papers. Regarding above-mentioned types of papers, I would underline the significance of distinction between them and also note the relevance of avoiding polemic and keeping balance between two opposite sides.

In addition with everything that was indicated previously, I believe that I will be able to present my works effectively in oral form, evaluate, make self-assessments.
