Do I understand everything correct?

zhuldyz.mussobayeva.uni-linz, 22. Oktober 2012, 01:10

After three meetings it seems like I'm getting involved in the work, understand more, and feel myself more confident about my paper, but stiil have some fears if I understand everything correct or there is misunderstanding.

I'm also not so confident in finding appropriate literature, as far as I'm not so good at searching. Maybe you guys can give me a piece of advice, where to find reliable resources.

The sentence outline helped me to structure all my ideas and I realized what Dr. Brewster has meant while talking about that we don't miss anything and we can add something in some particular part. Also the sentence outline helps to link all the ideas logically.

I appreciate every meetnig's "working-in-pair" activity, as far as I can learn more, how to write the research paper. When your partner asks questions, you answer. And while answering, you develop your ideas.

Hello Zhuldyz,

A good online souce for finding reliable literature is the Online Database called EBSCO. You can acces to it via this link where you also can find other databases http://www.jku.at/UB/content/e997/

Just click on the logo of ebsco (or any other) and log-in with your e-directory password.

You can also look for physical books in the library of the university.

And of course, google schoolar or google books is also a good source for finding scientific papers or books.

I hope this information could help you a bit!?

Regards,

Margarita

Hi!
I totally agree with Margarita - EBSCO is very, very useful! I also use the other databases that you can find on the JKU libary homepage, but EBSCO is my personal favorite. Whenever I can not find what I am looking for though, I also use google scholar.  If I can not get access to an article there, I copy the title of the article and see if I can access it via EBSCO ;)

Good luck with the searching and reading ;)
