Revisions over revision

Lately, I did so many revisions of my paper, I don't feel like reading it anymore because I seem to know it by hard already. Over all, I am happy with my paper, although there could be done some improvements concerning the following a red thread. Sometimes I have the feeling I followed 2 ideas/or thoughts, not just one. I am pretty sure I will hear about this in the next feedback session though.

Revising papers is really hard as you do not want to see it anymore, but it has to be done! Therefore, my suggestion is to have some breaks between reading and revising papers. With breaks I mean a few days if possible. Another way to revise it in terms of spelling mistakes is to read the paper from the back. Then it's easier to find mistakes!

@ Michael: that's really a good idea (a break of a couple of days). I have a similar problem; I tend to oversee the spelling mistakes, as I know in my head which word is supposed to be there... So thank's for the advice ;)

uups... I meant reading it from the back... I already do make breaks...
