In the first meeting I was really lucky because I was one of the students who did not have an assignment for the course. Therefore I had to wait and pick a sheet from the cap. Luckily it was a "yes" wriiten on the sheet. Moreover I started to find a topic for the essay. It is not as easy as it sounds. Afterwards I wrote the proposal.
