Academic writing

Hello everybody!

This is my first entry on collabor. At the beginning it was a little bit confusing for me, because I have never used a blog before. But I thing I will get used to it - hopefully.

Last semester I have made two courses in English at the university but at the moment I do not write any English text. I do watch English movies but I do not know if this helps me to improve my writing English. When I write English texts I sometimes feel unsecure. It can happen that I switch between tenses and I often forget to set the right punctuation. It can also happen that I write phrases which confuse people.  But this happens not very often.

But there were also moments where I feel very confident. Sometimes I take the wrong words - but I think I am not the only one to which this happens.

I hope that I can improve my written English in this course. I have never written (or thought about) an argumentative essay before - so I think I will lern a lot.
