Academic writing

hey everybody!

I kow i was a little bit lazy with my blog entries - sorry for that! But there was also a problem with collarbor the last two weeks - I couldn't log in! Did anyone have the same problem?

How did you find the poster presentations last week? I think there were many interesting topics. Today I have my poster presentation.

I think this course was the best english-course I have had on the university so far. I really liked the way we worked trough our paper. We got instructions how we have to write different parts of it and discussed it with other colleagues. In the english-courses I've had before the professors just said: "write a paper with 500 words". OK ... they never told us how we have to write it... I do not think that this is the way it should be.

It's the last lesson for this semester! I wish you all a nice summer and maybe we'll see each other next semester in another english-course!

Good luck with your presentation today, and to answer you question if anybody else had the problem with collabor: Yes, I am afraid so. I wasn't able to log in for the last two weeks either and had to find a different link over google.

I also think that Mr. Brewster's lessons were very unique and helped me become a better writer as well^^
