Academic Writing - SS2011

Finally I made it.

With a little help from my friends I could find a thesis statement for my paper. I must admit that was the most difficult part for me so far in this writing course - accept maybe getting online on "collator" and getting my blog to work. I now hope that my thesis statement gets Mr. Brewster's approval.

Further this week I narrowed my topic down a little more. At the moment I am starting my research on different comic art museums. So far I am having good results in Austria and the United States. But for the Asian part I do miss out a lot of information. Maybe some of you could help me out? In my paper I will compare the different approaches towards comics and cartoons in Austria, the United States and China. Therefore I would need some information about mangas, the Asian version of cartoons and if they are shown in museums in China.

Now I will continue with outlining my paper to make sure I do not miss out any important parts.
