Hi everyone!

Yesterday I got over a big crisis and thoughts about dropping this class. The problem was, that I was about to completely change my thesis- since my opinion changed. I spoke to few Austrians and they were all very surprised, that I am writing about topic as "Should by phyisical punishment in the family supported?", since it has been totally forbidden and illegal in Austria for many years and the mainstream opinion is "Of course NOT!".

Then I was searching, googling, met some other exchange students.. And I returned to my previous thesis. Since there are still so many countries, where such a punishments are not illegal and also the communis opinio is, that they should be supported. I also talked to one young woman from Slovakia, having 6 years old son and she is supporter of these punishment. At the same time she has a perfect relationship with her son, she spends with him a plenty of time, they are going for holidays a lot so that he has nice experiences..

Anyway.

I feel like I am always one step behind you. Now I should start with my middle part and I am still writing on my outline, introduction and conclusion.

Hope I can make it!

I don´t want to drop this class after 5 months of work!!

I talked to you last time about this topic. Of course it is a sensitive one, as Austrians are not allowed to punish their children by hitting them. However, I still think that some Austrians still do this but won't  admit it, cause it's kind of embarrassing for them. I think you should just focus on comparing the Austrian and Slovakian way of punishing and how it is enshrined in the act!

I'm sure you gonna write a good paper!! It's a very interesting topic by the way
