Academic Writing

Hi, I am trying my first steps on a blog tool, having huge difficulties

I am currently preparing the proposal for our course "Academic Writing" and after "I took the hurdle" of finding a topic I now have trouble fulfilling the required number of words for the proposal. I have to blow it up a bit. Writing this blog seems pretty easy for me but writing academically (i.e. the words, expressions, phrases used in scientific language) cause a bit of a problem. Hence this needs improvement and I am pretty sure that at the end of this semester I will feel better about it as the course outline promises it.
