Hello again,

at the moment I have a problem concerning the length of my papers. I have to write several papers for other courses as well and sometimes I do not really know how to concentrate on the most important points. Most of the papers we have to write are limited in size (also this one for our Academic Writing class) and it is really hard for me to write a paper within this limitation. So I really have to concentrate on a few very important points and I have to stop building long phrases (a disussion we already conducted in one of the other blogs)! Hopefully I will be able to to do so.

Hi Michael,

I can fully understand your concern. Although, however, on the one hand you have to limit your wide range of ideas, on the other hand, it will most certainly be more fruitful to concentrate on only a few of them. Besides, I think that this is one of the aims of this course, to eventually bring us go deeper into only one or a few aspects and narrow down our tendance of writing too broadly about a topic.
