15th entry

Hi all,
this is my 15th and last entry to this blog and I don't want to say too much as I have already mentioned a lot in my previous entries.
But let me just summarize this semester and this class in a few words. All the sessions as well as the assignments and especially our in-class discussions contributed to a satisfying result in terms of learnings and new experiences. In my first entry I mentioned some points I wanted to improve and I think I was able to reach these goals. I really improved my academic writing skills and this fact already led to some amazig grades in other courses in which I had to write papers. I am now able to concentrate on some ke points within my works and also the language skills improved. As this semester is the last one in which I have to take regular courses I am happy that I took this course as on of the last ones during my studies. Also due to the fact that I feel prepared for my diploma thesis now.
Thanks again for some interesting and funny sessions!
Michael

Dear, Michael,
You are right in your concluding blog, I enjoyed this course as well and it opened my eyes in many areas. With what I learned in this course, I can now think of writing my first book. This course covered so many areas, like how to write a term paper, blogging, and research proposal, most especially inserting thesis statement in your paper. Dr Brewster was of immense help, he guided us till the end. This course was a challenging one but we got a lecturer who knows how to make difficult things look so easy. He direct, guides and teaches us till we accomplished this mission. When I look back on now, I see a lot of improvement on my side and I hope you guys feel the same way.
Furthermore, to the best of my knowledge, this academic writing English is a course everybody should endeavour to attend because it covers a lot of things. And with this, writing a diploma thesis will not pose move problem to students. I learned much, my writing skills improved and I hope to hold on to it and even improve in other areas.
Thanks
Stephen
