Dear fellows!
Time flies and we already approach the final end of term supervision. I am convinced that the academic writing class enhanced my working attitude towards research projects as well as the knowledge and ability to draft a scholarly profound paper. Beforehand, I was slightly anxious about the new and unfamiliar tasks we ought to perform but due to the progressive acquire-ment of the academic methods, I felt comfortable with the single instructions. The considera-ble success and advanced training which also helped me in other classes is based on a solid and professional administration that I highly appreciate. Hello everyone!
Meeting 14 was the last regular academic writing session where I had to present my poster. The presentations went pretty smooth and I enjoyed the discussions with the different groups who visited my poster. It has been a real difference in comparison to previous English presen-tations I held at university. Thanks to this course I can definitely distinguish between a printed power point slide show I used to do in other classes and a professional poster presentation. Hello!
After the successful launch of last week's presentations, it is finally my turn to expose my poster today. Beforehand, I faced some difficulties how to print my poster in order to meet the requirements, as the copy service denied our requests. I ended up with printing nine A4 pages which I assembled by using an adhesive tape to one, relatively big poster. Finally, I am looking forward to the discussions and the conversations about the other half of the posters. By the way, does anyone of you already know the structure of the last session? I did not no-tice any appointments for the supervision yet. Christian ... link (0 comments) ... comment Montag, 14. Jänner 2013

Dear classmates!
In preparation for the poster presentation I have been confronted with some minor difficulties. Firstly, I intended to print the A4 mock-up on an A2 format in a facility on the university campus. Unfortunately, I discovered that it is only possible for the staff to make use of these services. Hence, I decided to print the poster on four papers with the format of A4 each and assemble them to one smooth piece. I hope that this approach will be consistent with Dr. Brewster's guidelines. For the imminent presentation, I arranged numerous critical questions and controversial topics for discussion about the research paper. In fact, I am not sure whether my presentation takes place tomorrow or the following week. Nevertheless, the poster, more or less, ought to be im-peccable, so that the date does not matter at all. Dear Bloggers!
The case study last week was an unusual task for me as I did not apply my handwriting in English classes for a long time. Nevertheless, I hope that Dr. Brewster is able to decipher my written work. The in class assignment was also exceptional in regard of the fact that we could take notice a few weeks before the actual exam. Hence, though the generous time of preparation at home, there was still a particular feeling in approaching the case study in class. How was your general feeling about the case study analysis?
